When is Game of Thrones Sequel Out

The eighth and final season of the fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones is scheduled to premiere on HBO in the United States on April 14, 2019. The series will consist of six episodes, each running approximately 80 minutes in length. Game of Thrones was created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss for HBO.

No one knows when the Game of Thrones sequel will be released. The showrunners have said they need at least a year to write and film the new season. So, it’s possible that we won’t see the new season until 2019.

This is frustrating for fans who have been waiting patiently for the past two years for the next season of Game of Thrones. However, it’s important to remember that this show is one of the most complex and ambitious television series ever made. It takes a lot of time and effort to create each episode.

We may not know when the sequel will be out, but we can be sure that it will be worth the wait.

House of the Dragon Release Date

House of the Dragon, the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series, now has an official release date. The 10-episode first season will premiere on HBO in 2022. The news was announced today at WarnerMedia’s virtual TCA presentation by Casey Bloys, president, HBO and HBO Max Programming.

“It feels like a long time since we announced [the series], but I can assure you that even though we don’t have an air date yet for 2022, the teams behind House of the Dragon are working hard to make sure this is a show worthy of the Game of Thrones legacy,” said Bloys. Created by George R.R. Martin and Ryan Condal, House of the Dragon is set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and tells the story of House Targaryen. The cast includes Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower, Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon (aka “The Sea Snake”), Eve Best as Queen Rhaenys Targaryen (Daenerys’ grandmother), and Fabien Frankel as Ser Criston Cole.

“I am thrilled to announce today that filming for House of the Dragon is officially underway,” said Condal in a statement released by HBO.
